Korey Whitfield

Korey is a native and current resident of Brookline, and his first of several Jamaica Plain residences dates back to 1991 in Perkins Square.  An alumnus of both Northeastern and Harvard University, he has spent most of his life living and working in Greater Boston, and has a deep understanding and sense of commitment to his community.  After spending over two decades in education, Korey is eager and earnest in his goal to become the best realtor he can be. He brings a myriad of skills and knowledge to the table and hopes to leverage them in support of his clients in finding the homes of their dreams. During his free time, he enjoys the outdoors, camping and skiing with his family in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont and beyond.

Why he loves his neighborhood:

I love the countless green spaces of our city! The emerald necklace is Boston’s greatest treasure and what makes our city unique. For years I was an instructor and course director for Thompson Island Outward Bound Education Center; the opportunity to experience the great outdoors in the middle of the city is priceless for him!

Favorite local pizza:

The Same Ol’ Place. Classic material!

Favorite walking-distance destinations:

The Arnold Arboretum, the crown jewel of the Emerald Necklace.

Favorite ice cream flavor:

Anything J.P. Licks!

Secret talent:

Cooking the best backyard BBQ in Greater Boston, (try me)!

Why he’s in real estate:

Like education, I believe access to real estate is a civil rights issue, in that everyone deserves the opportunity to live where their heart desires and can afford.  As a Realtor, similar to my career as an educator, I will work tirelessly to provide greater equity and access to all residents of our great city, state, and country.
